PRETTY PEACHES (1978) 82 Minutes.
p/d – Alex deRenzy. Cast: Desiree Cousteau, John Leslie, Joey Silvera, Eileen Wells,
Nancy Hoffman, Sharon Kane, Juliet Anderson, Paul Thomas, MImi Morgan, Kristine
Heller, Holly McCall, Liza Dwyer, Phaedra Grant, Ming Jade, Turk Lyon and Blair Harris.

Desiree Cousteau stars as Peaches, a daffy carefree female who cheerfully plunges
through life without any worries. After attending her father’s wedding, she has an accident
in her Jeep that leaves her unconscious. Two guys find her, and Joey Silvera immediately
takes advantage of his good luck. It turns out that Peaches has amnesia, so the fellows
offer to help her. The plot revolves around all the silly circumstances and schemes they
come up with, and her resolve to keep on smiling through it all.

deRenzy could not have cast a better lead. Dizzy Desi has a heart of gold, a head filled
with air and a body that won’t quit. Some wit once called her the ‘girl with the gravity defying
tits.’ The sex scenes are erotic within the context of the comedy. They don’t take themselves
too seriously, but still pack a punch. The enema scene, which is part of the set-up, has
become a classic. The orgy features most of the San Francisco regulars at the time, and
the three-way with Joey, Nancy Hoffman and Sharon Kane is a total turn on. The film ends
with Desiree finding John Leslie, her father, but not the way they planned. The operative
key is take the money and run. Alex deRenzy regards PRETTY PEACHES as his best all
around film. It was also Sharon Kane’s first feature film appearance.
