Scudder and Anthony Spinelli.

I invented a totally subjective and fictitious achievement award called “Hottest single
sexual performance by an actor or actress in an adult film.” It was awarded to Jesie St.
James for her work in EASY. In addition to her acting ability and considerable sexual prowess
demonstrated in her first lead role, the film offers much more for the viewer — namely plot,
production, photography and pretty people.

The story centers on a woman’s search for love, with disappointments and frustrations
appearing at every turn. Jesie plays Kate Harrison, a teacher at Clifton High, unwillingly or
unwittingly involved with her students. The scene with Richard Pacheco is quite erotic. After
she resigns her job, she becomes involved with a blind piano tuner that opens the door to
a new life.

The search continues as she settles down with writer Jack Wright. There is plenty of sex,
but no meaningful relationship. That situation is soon shattered with the discovery of another
woman in his life. A year later, just when Kate seems to have found everything, she learns
her new man is married. Left in tears by the side of the bed, she realizes that she has come
both full circle and no circle at the same time.

Jesie performs sex scenes with a spirit and intensity rarely seen in adult films. She moans,
writhes and rocks with considerable convincing gusto. The best scene of the film occurs
when Georgina Spelvin, as the other woman, bursts upon Jesie with a vengeance. Their
well acted cat scratching fight turns into lesbian love with Georgina as aggressor and Jesie
as victim turned more than willing participant. Desiree and Laurien appear at a dinner party
turned orgy. Spinelli’s Hitchcock cameo is as a slob who is rejected by Jesie in a bar. EASY
has appeal for both men and women, watching alone, separately, or together.
